Born and raised in China, Weiwei is the founder and Chief Vision Officer of Kota Botanics™, a premium hemp CBD business headquartered in Fargo, North Dakota. After discovering the power of CBD to manage her PTSD and panic attacks, Weiwei founded Kota Botanics™ as a retail boutique in 2019 and has grown the business into the #1 premium CBD retailer in the U.S. midwest with 18 brands and 150 types of premium hemp CBD products. They currently have two retail locations (one in Fargo, ND & one in Shakopee, MN) and one e-commerce shop. As an immigrant and an AAPI woman entrepreneur, Weiwei has been featured in major media publications such as Forbes, Thrillist, Medium, and is a frequent speaker at MJBizCon, CBD EXPO. When she’s not busy with her kids and businesses, she loves running outdoor and teaching cycling classes at YMCA in Fargo, ND.
